Fees
We welcome all students and their families who share or respect our Catholic faith, values and traditions. Catholic education is supported by State and Federal funding, with families contributing the balance of the cost of educating their children. At times, some families are unable to meet their commitment to the full costs of education. As a Catholic school system, we ensure fee relief mechanisms are available to support families in time of need. We encourage these discussions on enrolment or as these needs emerge.
Fees for education in a Catholic school are an in-built component of the total funding of Catholic education. School fees are charges to assist in meeting the day-to-day operating costs of the school.
In recognition that Catholic schools do not attract the same level of recurrent funding from the Commonwealth and State Governments as other sectors, there is a requirement to raise private funds. The major source of this private financial contribution is the school fee which may be supplemented with other contributions eg: direct parish(s) contributions, fundraising activities and the use of voluntary helpers. If the parent has a current health care card at the beginning of the school year, you may be entitled to a reduction in fees.
